Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox, who studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. She lived off of an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her budget. Lennox felt that her skills aren't the same as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative paths she could take. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band shortly before their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talent program New Faces. From 1977 until 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her debut solo album Diva. It was released in the year 1992. In both commercial terms and critically the album was a massive hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October 2014. This C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first solo album, and is a sequel to the art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go...
